Scott & Alicia Adamson, together with their daughters Lily and Ivy, are 4th(and 5th) generation ranchers on Scott’s family’s ranch, now called Diamond J Cattle Co. Inc. They have a cow/calf, background and yearling operation near Makwa, Saskatchewan. They are thankful to the generation before them for the opportunity to be here and do what they love.
Jesus, family, horses, cows and dogs pretty much sum up their lives. Scott and Alicia are both home full time and enjoy homeschooling their children while trying to keep up with ranch demands, and pursuing their horsemanship and stockdog skills, teaching some horsemanship lessons and developing some horses for sale.
In 2019, Alicia was awarded the Art of the Cowgirl horsemanship fellowship opportunity with Lee Smith. She traveled to New Mexico in April of 2019 to spend some time learning from Lee and pursuing her horsemanship skills. It was a life-changing experience and she is so grateful to Art of the Cowgirl and Lee Smith for the opportunity!
In the summer of 2019, they purchased the stallion Okies Risko Dude from Brad & Corrie Vanmetre. They will have horses for sale of varying ages and experience at all times and they will be listed on the website.
Huge thank you to Jessi Selte for most of the photos on the website! Hope you enjoy and feel free to contact us at anytime!
